The Salmon River Falls is a spectacular site and just a couple minutes’ drive from the cottages. A spectacular fall that drops 110 feet. The falls made NBC National news in January 2014. They were frozen solid.  

Fish (Bass, Blue-gill, crappie and many more), swim, float and boat in Autumn Lake.    Enjoy the three docks on the property.
Roast marshmellows, play horseshoes.  Use of boats on property included.  Life jackets must be worn.

Fish the Salmon River minutes away for salmon, steel head, trout, bass and many more. Our cottages located less than 1/4 mile from the fly-fishing section of the river and less then 10-15 minutes from over 12 other public access points.

Hunt on hundreds of acres on nearby state land.  Hike, Cross country ski/snowshoe.    ATV & Snowmobile (out the door on the C5 trail).

The fish hatchery is located just down the road from the entrance of the La Bella Vista campus.  If you love fishing, head to the hatchery and walk around the facility.  Take a look at a working hatchery.  There are exhibits, live fish in tanks and mounted fish.
